Joanna and Mike shared some intimate moments in the Edgefield's vinyards before their reception. The overcast sky offered perfect diffused light along the rich green background and an old white fence. Joanna and Mike couldn't have asked for a better day. Mike and Joanna moved on to their reception for a full night of swing dancing with friends and family.

Life Style Engagement Shoot with Joanna and Mike

Joanna and Mike are getting married on May 6th, 2007 in The Old Laurelhurst Church at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale Oregon. During their engagement photo shoot Jos encouraged them to do a "life style" shoot along the vintage streets of North Mississippi street in North Portland. After enjoying the finest Stumptown coffee lattes at The Albina Press they walked along streets simply "being themselves." Jos switched between 6 different lenses capturing a number of diverse angles using the imagery of texturized old walls, old signs, cobb backdrops, and extreme angles of the street shot from the top of a fire escape. "Joanna and Mike are so naturally in the moment," says Jos, "I can't help but capture their authenticity, their love inspires me."
